Calvin Coolidge Julius Caesar Tuskahoma McLish did not play organized baseball until the Brooklyn Dodgers picked him up in 1944. His first full year in the Major Leagues was with the Cubs in 1951. After a four year stint in the Pacific Coast League, McLish joined the Cleveland Indians. During his run with the Indians, McLish set the major league record for continued road wins with 16, and completed 26 of his 62 starts. Following his playing career, he was a major league pitching coach.
