THE STATS


Mark Carrier was a three-year letterman for the University of Southern California (USC). As a junior, carrier was named to the Playboy All-American team and became the first Trojan to win the Jim Thorpe Award. He was a two-time consensus All-American at USC, and finished his collegiate career with 13 interceptions. Following college, Carrier was selected in the first round by the Chicago Bears in the 1990 draft. He played ten years in the NFL with the Bears, Detroit Lions and Washington Redskins. Mark Carrier was inducted into the USC Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006.
