In four years at Oklahoma State University (OSU), Thurman Thomas became the OSU career rushing leader with 897 rushing attempts for 4,595 yards.  He was a consensus All-American in 1985 and 1987, and was drafted by the Buffalo Bills.  He became the Bills’ all-time leading rusher with 11,938 yards and was the second leading receiver in the team’s history with 4,341 yards. A five-time pro bowler, he was voted the NFL's Most Valuable Player in 1991. He is one of only three running backs to have over 400 career receptions combined with more than 10,000 yards rushing. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2008.
